COARE is an investment company that specializes in the acquisition and management of mobile home communities. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Manager to join our team. The primary focus of the offshore construction manager will be overseeing the procurement and installation of mobile homes.The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of construction timelines, project management, vendor selection and general procurement policies. Strong written and spoken English communication skills are required. The role will demand exceptional organization skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously (as well as various workstreams within each project) and persistent follow-up.

Summary

The Construction Manager (CM) is responsible for the overall management, coordination, and execution of remote construction activities. This role ensures that all operations are performed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with client specifications and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with onshore project management, client representatives, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and clear communication.
  • Ensure full compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) standards and promote a safety-first culture at all times.
  • Review project documentation, construction procedures, and schedules to ensure feasibility and alignment with operational constraints.
  • Manage remote logistics, material handling, and coordination of construction equipment.
  • Supervise construction activities such as lifting operations, structural installations, piping, and electrical works.
  • Monitor progress and prepare daily reports for internal use.
  • Resolve technical and operational issues in real time to avoid delays.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant onsite and/or remote construction experience.
  • Knowledge of American construction techniques and safety regulations.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multicultural teams in high-pressure environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and reporting systems.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Architecture or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Certification in project management, and construction is an asset.
  • Experience working with US-based homebuilders or construction firms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $55,500.00 per year

Work Location: Remote
