Descripción y detalle de las actividades

  • Lead best‑in‑class demand management and forecasting processes.
  • Facilitate the monthly demand review cycle to produce an aligned, consensus demand forecast at the appropriate levels.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Service to align assumptions, incorporate market intelligence, and reflect changing demand drivers.
  • Provide clear visibility to key customers, strategic accounts, and growth initiatives through actionable performance insights.
  • Support Sales leadership with customer‑level insights for business reviews, strategic account discussions, and internal performance evaluations
  • Develop and maintain statistical forecasts, including historical data management and outlier correction.
  • Own demand planning KPIs and continuously improve forecast accuracy while identifying and eliminating systemic bias.
  • Own demand rules, assumptions, forecast accuracy metrics, and KPI targets.
  • Communicate demand requirements and insights to Capacity Planning and Finance partners.
  • Monitor demand planning performance and continuously improve forecast quality, process efficiency, and insight generation.
  • Analyze variances between actual demand and forecasted demand.
  • Track changes between prior and current forecasts, documenting trends and significant shifts for clear stakeholder communication.
  • Provide training and support on demand planning processes, tools, and methodologies as needed.
  • Develop and maintain demand scenarios and “what‑if” analyses to support planning and decision‑making.
  • Proactively identify demand risk through early warning signals,
  • scenario planning, and demand gating prior to customer commitments.
  • Coordinate explanations for demand‑driven extended lead times and customer impacts.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the SIOP process, related KPIs, and adoption of new tools and practices.
  • Support Finance and SIOP teams with supply‑chain‑related budgeting and planning requirements.


Experiencia y requisitos

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.

Experience

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Customer Service, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, or a related function.

Hard Skills

  • Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word necessary to perform job functions.
  • Intermediate – ERP systems, EDI, and forecasting tools preferred
