About the Role

We are looking for a Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer with hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and development to join a growing Property & Casualty Insurance technology team.

This role is ideal for a developer with solid experience in Gosu, Java, PCF screens, rules, validations, Product Model customization, and PolicyCenter workflows. The selected candidate will work closely with business analysts, QA teams, and distributed technology teams to deliver high-quality insurance solutions for enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, customize, and enhance Guidewire PolicyCenter functionalities based on business requirements.
• Develop and maintain Gosu code, business rules, validations, and PolicyCenter logic.
• Work on PCF screen development and UI configuration within Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Support PolicyCenter lifecycle transactions, including:
• Submission
• Policy Change
• Renewal
• Cancellation
• Reinstatement
• Customize the PolicyCenter Product Model, including:
• Coverages
• Conditions
• Exclusions
• Modifiers
• Develop and support PolicyCenter integrations with external systems using:
• SOAP web services
• REST APIs
• Messaging
• Plugins
• Participate in defect fixing, enhancements, and minor upgrade activities.
• Support unit testing and collaborate with QA teams during SIT and UAT phases.
• Follow Guidewire development standards, coding best practices, and recommended design patterns.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment with local and distributed teams.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Strong understanding of Guidewire InsuranceSuite architecture.
• Experience with PolicyCenter data model and product model.
• Strong development experience with Gosu and Java.
• Hands-on experience with:
• PCF UI development
• Rules and validations
• PolicyCenter workflows
• Policy lifecycle transactions
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as:
• Oracle
• SQL Server
• Experience working in Property & Casualty Insurance projects.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodology.
• Ability to collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and onsite/offshore teams.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Guidewire Cloud.
• Experience in Guidewire version upgrade projects.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Guidewire certifications, such as:
• Associate – PolicyCenter
• Specialist – PolicyCenter
• Basic exposure to DevOps or cloud platforms.
• Experience working with BFSI or Tier-1 insurance carriers.

Domain Experience

• Property & Casualty Insurance.
• BFSI / Insurance technology projects.
• Enterprise insurance implementation experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per month
