Graphic Designer

We are looking for a Graphic Designer help support our Tijuana, Mexico based Design team in creating assets for a wide range of projects and supervise junior staff. This position works with a team of professionals in our offices in Mexico and the U.S. and will report to the Design Director.

The successful candidate will work across the Vervent Services and the Vervent Card divisions on designs that will help drive awareness, B2B leads/sales, and B2C credit card acquisition, and align to revenue goals and corporate strategic objectives. They will ensure all projects and communication are carried out in an effective, accurate manner and will look for continued process improvement and innovation.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and deployment of marketing collateral and sales tools to support Vervent's business lines.
• Effectively create assets across all marketing channels – web, digital, mobile, social, video, in-market, etc.
• Effectively assist in production work and file maintenance per department standards/process.
• Develop effective relationships with internal stakeholders and baseline understanding of Vervent’s products and services to be able to understand and offer additional Design/UX best practices to deliverables.
• Contribute to and maintain departmental quality and brand standards through exceptional presentation, listening and analytical skills.
• Cultivate team collaboration and complete various ad hoc projects as needed.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelors in Marketing, Communication, Design, or related field, 3-5 years of design experience with active responsibility for delivering projects on-time and on brand.
• Mid-Level experience in Graphic Design or related field (3-4 years as a full-time employee or 5+ of steady contract work).
• Advanced English – written and verbal.
• Must have experience with the Adobe Suite.
• Ability to communicate clearly with above average people skills.
• Dedication to meet project deadlines in a timely manner.
• Close attention to detail & quality of deliverables.
• Experienced with Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and general content management systems.
• Superior organizational skills, cross-team collaboration and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

This role is 100% office-based in our Tijuana location
