Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Yardi Accountant to join our remote accounting team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Yardi software, strong attention to detail, and a background in real estate or property management accounting. This role is critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting and smooth day-to-day accounting operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and account for all deposits and withdrawals in Yardi
  • Manage utility accounts and ensure timely, accurate payments
  • Support month-end close activities and prepare financial reports
  • Maintain thorough and accurate accounting records and documentation
  • Collaborate with the accounting team on ad-hoc projects and process improvements

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be located in Mexico, Ecuador and Peru
  • 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management
  • 2+ years of strong proficiency with Yardi accounting software
  • Bilingual: Fluency in English / Spanish | Written and verbal communication
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Fluency in English; Spanish bilingual skills
