About the role

Ducere Global Business School is seeking a full-time Online Business Instructor/Lecturer with expertise in management, marketing, and/or entrepreneurship. Reporting to the Director of Academic Affairs, the successful candidate will teach graduate and undergraduate courses in accordance with an approved curriculum. Working with the curriculum development team, this faculty member will also evaluate and assist with developing and updating class content and assessments.

The position

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in teaching excellence in an online learning environment and professional business experience in the subject(s) taught. Experience with developing curriculum, assessing learning outcomes, and using the Canvas LMS is preferred. This position serves both undergraduate and MBA students and should be able to present live webinars for a global student audience. Candidate should be located in Mexico.

Essential functions

• Teach and facilitate undergraduate and postgraduate business classes, sharing your passion and real-world experience.
• Prepare webinar content and deliver webinars that align course content to real-world application and assignment requirements. Provide individual tutorial assistance as needed.
• Generate online discussion and student engagement through case studies, current affairs examples, and personal experience.
• Grade assignments by providing balanced, constructive feedback focused on industry relevance and application and return graded work in a timely manner consistent with university expectations.
• Provide ongoing support and assist students in achieving their objectives and learning outcomes.
• Work effectively with the Curriculum Development team to continuously improve Ducere's online programs.
• Administration and compliance activities as needed to ensure adherence to university partner policy and requirements.
• Participate in professional development and scholarly activity.
• Attend and participate in scheduled faculty and administrative meetings.

Minimum requirements

• MBA or Masters in Business, Management, Entrepreneurship, Organisational Behaviour, Marketing, or a related business field.
• Three to five years of relevant industry or professional experience.
• At least two years of experience teaching and facilitating in an online classroom setting.
• Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Strong communication skills and a genuine energy and passion for teaching.
• Ability to inspire, mentor, and support students, demonstrating genuine care and respect.
• Familiarity with virtual learning platforms, including Canvas, Teams, and Outlook.

Preferred qualifications

• PhD or DBA in Business, Management, Entrepreneurship, Organisational Behaviour, Marketing, or a related business field.
• Professional proficiency in Spanish.
• Experience developing curriculum or assessing learning outcomes.
• Experience teaching both undergraduate and graduate business students.
