The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the daily movement of trucks, drivers, and shipments. This role ensures that loads are scheduled, assigned, and delivered on time, while maintaining constant communication with drivers, customers, and operations staff. The Dispatcher troubleshoots delays, updates tracking systems, and provides support to ensure efficiency, safety, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and coordinate shipments for drivers, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Manage communication with drivers, shippers, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor truck locations and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
• Optimize routes for fuel efficiency and timely delivery.
• Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during transit.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments, deliveries, and driver logs.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a dispatcher in the trucking or logistics industry.
• Knowledge of freight handling, roadside assitance and route optimization.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with dispatch software and systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, if necessary.
