Technical Support Manager

Duties:

• Manage support team
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software and hardware issues
• Respond to user inquiries and provide timely resolutions
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks
• Monitor network performance and security
• Test and integrate better monitoring tools
• Build CRM and internal systems for better documentation and management
• Test and review OS and Hardware to ensure best options
• Build PC’s and look at automation
• Document support activities and maintain knowledge base
• Assist with the implementation of new technologies and systems
• Troubleshoot complex audio-video client equipment, makes repairs, and communicates plans to project leaders, clients, and client customers.
• Manage inventory of repair/replacement parts including the recording of serial/model numbers, ordering of new parts, and returning of defective parts.
• Travel onsite for customer installations
• Project Manage onsite installation

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems
• Experience with computer networking, including LAN, VPN, and firewall configurations
• Experience with building desktops, hardware solutions, installing components and peripherals
• Proficiency in software troubleshooting and ticketing systems (Jira, Zendesk)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Prior experience in desktop support or a similar role is preferred
