We are looking for a IT Support Specialist for our Querétaro facility. In this role you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and resolving complex issues that arise within our IT environment. You will be the key point of contact for internal users, ensuring smooth operations and optimal system performance. Additionally, you will assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems, along with supporting business-critical IT projects. This role requires a solid understanding of IT systems and services, including operating systems, applications, and hardware. The ideal candidate will have excellent troubleshooting abilities and strong communication skills to interact effectively with both local and international teams.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide first and second-level support for incidents and requests, managing tickets via Help Desk systems and resolving complex issues .
  • System Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, Teams phones, and other devices to ensure optimal user performance.
  • Software & OS Support: Manage, troubleshoot, and support various software platforms, including Office 365, Windows 10, and other critical applications.
  • Provide support for Outlook/Exchange email services. Experience with Windows 11 is a plus.
  • Account & Access Management: Administer user accounts, permissions, and security protocols in Active Directory and Exchange, ensuring accurate and secure access controls.
  • Backup & Data Protection: Develop and implement backup strategies to protect critical user data. Assist in data recovery efforts and virus/spyware remediation.
  • Hardware & Software Inventory: Oversee IT asset management, including maintaining an accurate inventory of hardware and software, handling resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
  • Business IT Projects: Assist in the execution and support of business-focused IT projects that align with company goals.
  • Collaboration & Support: Work closely with global IT teams (U.S., Europe, Brazil and India) to ensure smooth operations and the successful execution of IT initiatives.
  • On-Site Support: Provide 24x7 on-site support for urgent requests and technical issues, ensuring a timely response in line with service level agreements (SLAs).

Your Profile:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT support roles, with a focus on Level 2 technical support, incident management, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in Windows 10 and 11 environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365 Suite and Outlook.
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange Server administration.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory (user management, permissions, policies).
  • Experience with hardware management (PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices).
  • Knowledge of server administration (Windows Server 2012 R2 and beyond).
  • Basic networking and telecommunications knowledge.
  • Experience with supporting users in SAP.
  • Knowledge of SQL and databases.
  • Experience with Java, PHP, and .NET frameworks.
  • Basic network knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Position 100% On site.
