Owner Summary/View of Needs

• Strong financial business acumen and relationship management is key
• Candidate must possess a strong understanding and experience in Food & Beverage
• Alignment with ownership’s long-term vision as trophy asset and viable business
• Product obsession to be at the highest of levels and tremendous intensity for building on what has been achieved and proposing new elevations
• On the floor leadership style, driving service execution through staff and guest engagement
• Need for a leader who can build a strong partnership by playing a collaborative role throughout the operation of the hotel. This candidate must be able to synthesize the opportunities for leading hotel in the market
• Candidate must be able to lead in a fluid, highly demanding environment with a spirit and zest for creating best in class guest and employee experiences
• Skilled at project leadership and can develop a collaborative alignment amongst diverse stakeholders. Embraces being both structured and highly organized with a people focused leadership approach

Current Leadership Requirements

General

• A talented and strong leader who understands, respects and embraces the Mexican culture
• Strong EQ – relationship management is key for all stakeholders (internal, external, ownership and Four Seasons brand)
• Role model of Evolve Behaviors, inspirational and motivational leadership skills.
• Exceptional communication skills, maturity in the delivery of message and approach is critical. Equally important is timing, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders. Transparency is key to creating trust and building lasting relationships.
• Decisive leader who is can make a fact- based decision and effectively communicate this to the Asset Management team when needed
• High visibility within all operational areas – strong floor presence and interactions with our colleagues. Ability to have hands on approach

People

• Strong leadership skills to manage employees
• The patience and capacity to develop, coach and mentor managers.
• An inspirational leader who brings the team along, is inclusive in style and embraces our Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (DIB) culture.
• Capacity to influence and build relationships with multiple stakeholders – guests, owners representatives and community.

Product

• The Hotel Manager must lead the team by being involved in all areas of the Hotel. She/He must enjoy spending time with the team and guests on the floor; ensuring a guest experience that represents Four Seasons.
• Innovative thinking and creative mind set. The ability to think beyond a traditional hotelier and more as a free standing business operator
• Being intense in the attention to detail, style and aesthetics of hotel is critical to ownership and Four Seasons brand
• Strong focus on food and beverage to elevate the operation, remain at a competitive advantage in the market and to grow the social market
• Delivery of consistent service and innovative product very important to ownership and Four Seasons brand. Maintenance of product is equally as important to ownership and Four Seasons brand

Profit

• Capacity to yield top and bottom-line results, think like an owner is key to success
• Strong understanding of Restaurant and Rooms operating budget. Forecasting and labor management is critical
• Ability to effectively use programming to maximize guest ancillary spend
• The ability to react and adjust to a changing business environment and lead the team in ensuring efficient financial management of the business
