• Handles assigned commodities.
• Ensures cost control in accordance with the Nissan revival plan cost reduction goals and requirements.
• Perform analysis of suppliers for a specified commodity.
• Coordinates activities between Purchasing Teams and suppliers to ensure uninterrupted supply of parts and resolution of supply issues and problems.
• Coordinates all functions, procedures, and system related concerns between Nissan entities (US and México) regarding service, accessory, remanufactured and key value parts. As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative.

Job Knowledge and Skill:

• Purchasing and basic knowledge of MFG processes.
• Commercial and legal regulations knowledge; effective communication skills-both verbal and written; interpersonal; negotiation and cost and manufacturing process analysis skills.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (i.e., International Affairs, Finance, Engineering or alike).

Computer Skills:

• Office 365, SAP ERP, Pivot Tables, and mainframe applications to produce non-standard, creative products.
• Desirable: Tableau.
