Athena Systems (www.athenasystems.com) is currently growing and seeking Support Engineers for our Athena Spark platform to increase the level of user satisfaction in our worldwide client base.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a "Getting-Things-Done" Mindset to reinforce the Team in daily supporting tasks and strategic projects with our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Athena's growing clients.
  • Ensure all support requests coming in on emails and conversations are logged in the support system.
  • Resolve support tickets in a fast and professional manner.
  • Keep support requester updated on the progress of resolving their support ticket.
  • Actively comment on your work for each support query.
  • Log any client requests on feature handling system.
  • Feedback any critical client information to the Client Services Team and/or Technical Support Team.
  • Be part of QA team to implement testing new product features, bug fixes, etc. to ensure continuous deployment.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a Computer Science field.
  • Job experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong English communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficient in SQL.
  • Some Database knowledge required – Or a proven ability to learn new technology quickly.
  • Knowledge in querying databases, coding, and statistical computer languages (e.g., C#, .NET, PHP, HTML, JS, CSS) is a plus.
  • Team-player who can also work independently.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and judgment with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Motivated and capable of independently learning new technical skills when required.
  • Comfort with financial or accounting terms and concepts.
  • Knowledge in Finance and/or accounting is a plus.
  • Mature, thoughtful, with the ability to operate in a collaborative, team-oriented culture.

COMPENSATION

TIMESHIFT

8:30am-5:30pm NYC ET TIME (1h for personal time)

Location:

  • Initially work from home/remote
  • With office move scheduled in 2023
