Facilities compliance specialist
Position Requirements:
At a minimum, the selected individual must possess the following characteristics:
- Advanced fluency in English speaking and writing.
- Bachelor’s degree in law, business, finance or administration is required.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant compliance processes experience.
- Strong understanding of the applicable laws, regulations, and standards for the organization and industry.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational, time-management, and project-management skills.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity
- Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively and be able to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
- Team oriented with strong leadership skills.
- Strong time management, organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to a changing environment.
- Excellent communication skills
Position Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities for this position include the ability to:
- Ensure that company complies with its outside regulatory and legal requirements as well as internal polices and bylaws
- Identify and manage regulatory risks on areas
- Include researching laws, standards, and best practices that affect the organization,
- Developing and implementing policies to ensure compliance in all areas of organization.
- Conduct audits to monitor and evaluate performance, identifying and reporting any compliance issues or violations
- Provide guidance and training on compliance matters,
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and recommending corrective actions and improvements
- Staying updated on law, standards, and best practices on compliance.
- Create and implement plans to improve compliance
- Work with legal team, HR, and external auditors
- Developing compliance training programs, for existing employees and managers
