Facilities compliance specialist

Position Requirements:
At a minimum, the selected individual must possess the following characteristics:
  • Advanced fluency in English speaking and writing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in law, business, finance or administration is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant compliance processes experience.
  • Strong understanding of the applicable laws, regulations, and standards for the organization and industry.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational, time-management, and project-management skills.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity
  • Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively and be able to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Team oriented with strong leadership skills.
  • Strong time management, organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to a changing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills
Position Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities for this position include the ability to:
  • Ensure that company complies with its outside regulatory and legal requirements as well as internal polices and bylaws
  • Identify and manage regulatory risks on areas
  • Include researching laws, standards, and best practices that affect the organization,
  • Developing and implementing policies to ensure compliance in all areas of organization.
  • Conduct audits to monitor and evaluate performance, identifying and reporting any compliance issues or violations
  • Provide guidance and training on compliance matters,
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and recommending corrective actions and improvements
  • Staying updated on law, standards, and best practices on compliance.
  • Create and implement plans to improve compliance
  • Work with legal team, HR, and external auditors
  • Developing compliance training programs, for existing employees and managers
