SIG Project Configuration and Documentation Engineer

• Keep the project configuration under control during the whole lifecycle of the Project.

• Ensure Configuration is formalized and adequate at any time to deliver the configuration and change documentation to the

  stakeholders (customer, supplier, partners or project).

• Manage the Changes in the project or program.

• Define and implement Documentation Management within the Project/Program organisation.

• Define and Monitor Documentation.

• Execute Documentation Life Cycle.

  
  

Key accountabilities

• Write Configuration and change Management Plan (CMP) instantiating the configuration and change management process in

  the Project/Program

• Establish and maintain the configuration and change management system (structure, tools)

• Train team members to configuration and change management rules defined in the CMP and ensure CMP rules are

  understood and applied by every team member

• Ensure application of configuration and change standard procedures, instructions and templates.

• Write release notes with the support of ADM PrCCC, check them with Technical Manager in configuration reviews, and freeze

  baselines

• Plan, organize and attend the CCB meetings

• Applies the rules defined in the Documentation Management Plan (DMP),

• Controls documentation formal homogeneity: template, reference, version,

• Controls contractual documentation according to customer requirements,

• Assigns reference, when needed, to the documentation produced and controls the electronic files identification and customer identification (if relevant),

• Makes sure internal validation of Project/Program documents is done before submission to Customer,

• Provides documentation reporting and indicators

• Manages the Project/Program documentation delivery on due time to Customer according to Documentation availability,

• Informs the Core Team about next milestones related to documentation issues,

• Follows Customer and stakeholder’s documentation status,

• Creates and updates the document contractual templates according to contractual requirements,

• Organises documents storage and archiving at the end of the Project/Program,
