Looking for a smart, innovative, creative, loyal engineer who wants to have fun and create some magic with our existing team.

The ideal candidate is a multi-faceted software engineer with experience with AWS administration and software development. The job is primarily working as a dev-ops engineer, however, we want the employee to get familiar with our code. This will help with ideas and suggestion on improving our overall infrastructure. We have a lot of development experience but we need to bring someone to the team that has a strong understanding of AWS.

We are growing very fast and we need someone who likes technology, likes to learn and takes pride in their work. You will be managing our servers to make sure we reduce downtime and we scale as our business continues to grow.

Currently, we use EC2, S3 and transitioning MySQL to RDS to help with functionality.

We want someone with AWS certifications and we also want this person to be interested in backend development. We use node.js, ExpressJS, ReactJS and Vite as our infrastructure.

You will be responsible for maintaining our AWS servers, implementing changes to the database and possibly creating new modules. The ideal candidate would have some development and sysadmin experience.

The developer must take the initiative to propose new solutions to problems. Introduce new methods of development. Your work should be oriented to the team changing rapidly in the environment. Each team member is very valuable and important to the overall success of the company. You must have the skills to solve technical problems quickly with minimal assistance from others.

Responsibilities

· Manage our infrastructure and help us scale during growth

· Collaborate with team in defining architecture; implement data contracts; identify and proactively advise on potential risks to success

· Follow coding conventions, policies and procedures provided

· Manage application dependencies

· Learn, understand and use JavaScript frameworks used by the application; contribute to development, troubleshooting and maintenance of custom framework as needed

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field

· AWS Certifications

· Some experience with AWS administration

· Development experience with programming languages

· SQL database or relational database skills
