Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('SpinCo') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an IT Team Leader, you will be the cornerstone of our TechEx team in LATAM and will take on the crucial role of managing and harmonizing a team of IT professionals in the region. Your responsibilities encompass comprehensive IT project oversight, offering invaluable guidance to team members, and establishing productive collaboration with key stakeholders.
This role places a strong emphasis on leadership qualities, requiring the IT Team Leader LATAM to exhibit exceptional leadership skills. They are expected to set an example for the team, motivating and empowering team members to reach their highest potential. Furthermore, the IT Team Leader will leverage their profound technical expertise to ensure the flawless execution of IT projects. Their technical acumen will be instrumental in making informed decisions, addressing complex challenges, and upholding the overall integrity of our IT systems and operations.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 7 years of experience providing direct end-user support for a Fortune 500 company in a Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Mac environment with strong experience leading projects, high problem-solving ability, goal-oriented, and able to use analytical skills to solve technical problems.
- Ability to speak English and Spanish.
- Must be able to assist direct supervisor in training current and future L2 agents in new technologies and procedures
- Min 5 years strong customer service experience
- Able to maintain operations in the absence of client services manager, client services liaison for designated sites
- Able to analyze L2 reported issues and provide solutions using the most appropriate tools and processes quickly and effectively
- Able to effectively work as a point of guidance for L2 system analysts in LATAM.
- Ability to analyze requests to route/engage appropriate areas of expertise
- Ability to take ownership of production incidents from a technical support expertise, collaborate with others on remediation
- Ability to work flexible hours and tight deadlines, within a 24/7 environment
- Ability to travel (minimum 5% annually)
- Ability to lead infrastructure projects and work with other corporate teams on implementations.
- Experience in supplier management.
- Ability to identify needs for live productions and events.
PREFRERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to work within established standards and guidelines
- Project management skills and experience
- MCSE desired
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems/Computer Science related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills such as: persistent, client-oriented, results-oriented and accountable
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Professional attitude
