We are seeking a talented and motivated Metrology Engineer to join our dynamic team in Guadalajara Sur. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the precision and accuracy of our manufacturing processes, contributing directly to the production quality and efficiency. Utilize and maintain a good condition of the laboratory infrastructure and equipment such as CMM, optical system and CT scanning to support to customers with measuring methods and dimensional reports.

Our Team

This position will be working in the Metrology Laboratory along with Metrology technicians and will be analyzing key information and identifying measuring requirements to contribute the success of the area.

What You Will Do

• Attend Measurement of parts according to requirements from internal/external customers.
• Interpretate and evaluate drawings to determine the best method to measure a part.
• Define measuring plans and timing to perform dimensional measurements.
• Ensure completion with measuring requirements according to metrology procedure.
• Perform dimensional inspections with CMM programming or optical inspections as assigned.
• Provide data and/or reports and analyze dimensional results and give feedback to the project team.
• Perform statistical analysis for control and continuous improvement of measuring system.
• Develop CT scanning and participate in revision of results with engineering and quality departments.
• Support AQP and QE during disposition phase as defined in the Product Development Procedure.
• Continuous effort to improve the metrology culture, spread knowledge inside laboratory.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Consistent laboral experience as metrology engineer in working in Dimensional laboratories.
• Experience with CAD computer assistant design (to use CAE, CAM, CAD files).
• Experience in measuring methods.
• Previous experience in supervisory roles.
• Conversational level of English.
