Job Overview:
The HSES Tech provides solutions to problems in conjunction with HSE Advisors / Supervisors and will
evaluate and select solutions from established HSES Management Systems.



Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Conversant with local and international HSES laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Serve as a resource to develop and administer a proactive prevention program for incidents.
  • Provide technical assistance to ensure compliance with applicable international, federal, state, and
    company environmental, safety, and health regulations.
  • Implement the HSES activity plan and ensure activities are completed as scheduled.
  • Assist with incident investigations and compilation of reports.
  • Assist with medical evacuations and respond to emergencies as required.
  • Regularly inspect the work areas to identify unsafe acts or conditions.
  • Conduct compliance evaluations of equipment, structures, and work in progress to ensure that
    regulatory environmental, safety, and health standards of the company and all applicable codes are
    followed.
  • Observe work groups and provide guidance and coaching to personnel to perform work safely.
  • Assist in the delivery and observation of toolbox talks and Job Safety Analyses (JSA’s).
  • Observe the condition of plant and equipment and report deficiencies.

Essential Qualifications and Education:

  • Diploma or equivalent certification.
  • Two – three (2-3) years of relevant experience.
  • Maintain key competencies associated with the HSES function.
  • Have experience with technical activities, including on and offshore operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Exposure to incident investigation and analysis software preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to apply knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and nonstandard situations.
  • Ability to use best practices and knowledge of internal / external business issues to improve
    products or services in own discipline.
  • Proven experience promoting teamwork, coaching, and guiding others
