Candidates for this position are expected to have:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in SEO (on-site, off-site, technical)
• Detail-oriented and methodical approach for digital marketing strategies
• Leadership skills
• Great attitude and work ethic

• Data-driven marketing background
• Strong analytical skills
• Accountability and sense of urgency
• The ability to thrive in a fast-moving and challenging environment
• Hybrid position if you are based in Guadalajara or Mexico City.
• Remote position if you are based anywhere else in Mexico.

Responsibilities:

• Implement SEO strategies for designated projects to position them on the first page of Google (organically and locally) for competitive keywords.
• Upload content to our clients websites (WordPress) and optimize it according to best practices
• Run technical audits and fix issues found using Ahrefs and Screaming Frog
• Do on-page optimization on our clients WordPress sites according to best practices
• Implement link-building strategies
• Implement campaigns to generate a high volume of quality leads for our clients.
• Implement local SEO strategies on client’s websites and on their Google Bussiness Profiles
• Do visual inspections to our client websites to ensure quality standards are met
• Coordinate campaign implementation with internal business units and vendors.
• Implement all tracking scripts, analytics goals, and all appropriate pixels on sites we manage.
• Oversee the creation of marketing materials and creative pieces.
• Monitor campaign performance and provide reporting to executive management.
• Other SEO-related weekly and monthly duties.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in SEO (on-site, off-site, technical) using advanced analytical skills.
• 3 to 5 years of experience ranking websites in Google.
• STEM-related background is preferred but not required (industrial engineering or similar).
• Methodical mindset.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data.
• High proficiency in written and verbal English is required, do not apply if you don’t speak fluently.
• Minimum C1 English Certification.
• You’re startup-ready – not looking for a 9-5 job, but you are looking for a rewarding career with a high opportunity for growth.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with partners, and vendors. and all levels of the employee peer groups and management.
• The ability for rapid problem-solving.
• Proficiency in WordPress is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain focus under pressure.
• A College Degree is preferred but not required.
