Job Overview

Our Intercompany Accounting Coordinator will ensure timely reconciliation of netting Partner accounts, non-netting Partner accounts & Agent accounts. End-to-end A/R & A/P (Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable) reconciliation of statements, to ensure timely research & posting of agreed items, and handling of unreconciled items.

What will you enjoy doing (duties/tasks)

  • Reconcile monthly netting Partner statements to identify and resolve unreconciled (not posted) item accounts.
  • Reconcile non-netting Partner and Agent statements, both A/R & A/P.
  • Research invoices & credit notes to properly distribute to the responsible country branch locations.
  • Post manual bill backs and other entries (journal entries, A/R & A/P entries).
  • Assist in dispute resolution, including coordination with Supervisor and/or Management Staff for higher complex invoicing disputes.
  • Perform month end closing duties, including compiling, and sending monthly statements (download from SAP to Excel).

What you need to succeed (Qualifications, experience, skills, attributes)

  • Experience with ERP financial management systems (SAP preferred)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word) is required.
  • Intermediate-level Excel skills (V-lookups, pivot tables, charting).
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in dynamic, fast-paced situations.
  • Good written and oral communication skills (Moderate English skills are required. Medium to strong English skills are preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with focus on Customer service, for both internal and external Customers.
  • A work ethic based on a strong desire to develop others and exceed expectations.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in finance or accounting
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates Degree (Carrera Técnica, Tecnicatura) in accounting or finance related field is preferred.
