YOUR ROLE

  • Lead the APS-PaaS team in the design and implementation of automated metrics generation environment capable of producing consumable content ranging from near-real-time dashboards to trending-over-time reports. The automation environment is envisioned to be a combination of a proprietary collection of applications, Jira, Smartsheet (being deprecated), Remedy and Excel. Easily accessible and understandable products such as status dashboards, data integrations, workflows, delivery metrics, customer satisfaction reporting and efficacy reports for both near-real-time and trending-over-time intervals are the end goal.
  • Experience in establishing and operating automated report dissemination and notification systems utilizing existing Charter licensed tools.
  • Assist the APS-PaaS team in the collection, processing and distribution of the data, information and knowledge necessary to coordinate service deployment into the company’s private and public cloud infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to process and technology.
  • Establishment of an effective feedback plan for the tools used by the team.
  • Ability to visualize and automate the execution of complex business processes.
  • Perform data collection, analysis, and validation.
  • Respond to data inquiries from various groups within the organization, working towards a goal of providing a robust self-service reporting capability

YOUR PROFILE

  • 10+ years IT project-based team experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working with enterprise-level projects. Cable industry experience preferred.
  • Experience in application development, infrastructure definition/configuration, product ownership and data mastering tasks.
  • Data processing tool experience. Example tools include Oracle, Cognos, Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, Zoho, etc.
  • Grafana, Prometheus, Alert Manager preferred
  • Python and SQL experience preferred.
  • Experience with Jira, Remedy, SAP ALM or Rally (or comparable) required. JQL experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Smartsheet, Lucidchart and Excel.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Continuously seeks opportunities to improve features, performance, and usability of the automation tools and processes used by the team.
  • Strong logical and analytic skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment and deal effectively with ambiguity.
  • Technical curiosity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The successful candidate will bring creativeness, critical thinking and a self-starter approach to this position.
  • Understands that things move and change quickly and adapts to a fluid work environment.
