Job Description
Position Objective

IT Helpdesk acts as the first responder for our end users who need technical assistance. We strive to provide the best experience possible understanding how stressful a situation can be for our users who cannot conduct business due to technical challenges. If we are not able to resolve the technical issues, we will ensure to route the support request to the proper group who can resolve the issue.

IT Helpdesk is responsible for supporting the actual computer hardware and installation/removal of software on such systems. These entities have their own IT Helpdesk staff that supports certain applications such as their phone systems and internal tools. At time, will work with the entities staff on issues that they need help with or don’t have access to resolve such as anything requiring local admin rights on the workstations.

Job responsibilities and functions

  • Administrative management and responsibilities for the team in conjunction with the manager.
  • Ensure SLA´s are met.
  • Provide training to new employees and guide the existing employees
  • Supervises pool workload balance and capacity planning by using the application ticketing tool (Service Now).
  • Measure productivity and elaborate reports to improve the service.
  • Serve as the escalation point for resolutions that may require higher level assistance.

Requirements

  • University/ College degree (Indispensable).
  • Advance English Level.
  • Learning capacity.
  • Active listening.
  • Specialized knowledge.
  • Knowledge of basic Networking.
  • High Experience in Helpdesk IT Contact Call center.
  • Service now knowledge or any other ticket handling system.
  • Active Directory and Exchange knowledge.
  • Asset Management.
  • Virtual Machines.
  • Experience on any application deployment tool, GFI, PDQ, SCCM.
  • Remote Desktop Software.
  • Corporate Images.
  • BitLocker.
