Position Overview
Radiology is the second most used healthcare service, used by over 51% of the workforce annually. Despite the critical role of radiology in healthcare, the process for undergoing a medical imaging exam has remained unchanged for decades. OneImaging is solving this with a concierges approach and a premium-quality radiology network of over 4,000 vetted providers across 48 states, which also reduces imaging costs by 60-80%. Our solution helps patients and families access essential radiology services at fair prices and without surprise bills, all while delivering immediate savings and ROI for employers and payers on every exam.

The Care Navigator, will be responsible for guiding patients (members) through the entire OneImaging journey—from account registration to imaging exam completion. Care Navigators play an essential role by providing compassionate, high-quality patient support to ensure a smooth, efficient, and outstanding journey for our members. The Care Navigator will work closely with the Member Services, Operations, and Tech Teams to deliver an exceptional member experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Patient Support: Serve as the trusted point of contact for assigned members (patients), supporting them through each step of their imaging process:

- Account registration and setup
- Retrieval and management of imaging orders
- Assistance with prior authorization inquiries and updates
- Appointment scheduling and payment processing
- Procedure preparation and guidance
- Collection and management of imaging report
- Prompt issue resolution and escalation, as needed

  • Proactive Case Management: Actively manage a patient queue, ensuring timely scheduling and appointment completion for those with new imaging referrals.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Handle appointment requests and schedule patients with partnered imaging providers that fit availability and imaging needs.
  • Exceptional Patient Communication: Provide high-quality patient service through phone, email, and SMS, responding to questions and addressing concerns with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Care Navigation Experience: 2+ years of experience scheduling patient appointments or providing phone-based and written patient support in radiology or healthcare setting
  • Provider Coordination: 2+ years of experience coordinating patient care between providers.
  • Prior Authorization Knowledge: 1+ year of experience managing or supporting patient prior authorizations.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, active listening, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven Performance: Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding performance expectations in a fast paced, telephonic, environment.
  • Issue Resolution Skills: Track record of resolving patient concerns effectively, with the ability to escalate complex issues as appropriate.
  • Organizational Ability: Detail-oriented, with strong record-keeping and time-management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
