Position Description

We are seeking a seasoned Software Architect to join our innovative team. This role is ideal for a technical leader with proven experience in code review and publication, and a strong track record of managing and mentoring developer teams. You will drive architectural excellence and ensure that our projects are delivered with the highest standards of quality, performance, and scalability. The ideal candidate is a visionary who has built products end-to-end, understands a variety of web, mobile, and desktop frameworks, and is deeply skilled in C# and .NET infrastructures. You will be entrusted with leading complex projects, refining best practices in code quality, and guiding your team to innovate and deliver exceptional experiences for global users.

Objectives of This Role

  • Architectural Leadership: Drive the design and implementation of robust, scalable distributed systems that empower outstanding user experiences and measurable business growth.
  • Project Ownership: Take complete end-to-end ownership of projects, from initial conceptualization and code publication to deployment and post-release performance analysis.
  • Code Quality & Review: Lead and enforce comprehensive code review practices to maintain high standards in code quality, security, and application design.
  • Team Mentorship: Manage and mentor a diverse group of developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and collaboration.
  • Agile Excellence: Champion agile methodologies, ensuring adherence to best practices while promoting a learning culture that embraces new technologies and frameworks.

Responsibilities of a Software Architect

  • Agile Development & Code Review: Engage in all phases of agile software development including analysis, design, implementation, testing, documentation, and deployment. Lead rigorous code reviews and ensure thorough documentation and publication of code standards.
  • End-to-End System Architecture: Architect end-to-end systems optimized for speed, scalability, and maintainability, while publishing best practices and technical guidelines across the team.
  • Technology Stack Proficiency: Utilize and guide development in technologies such as C#, .NET, ASP Web Forms, Angular, Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Xamarin, MAUI, Bootstrap, JSON, RESTful APIs, Entity Framework, SQL, SCRUM, WCF, ADO.NET, PrimeNG, DevExpress, Unit Testing, and Visual Studio. Maintain a focus on best practices in code publication and architecture design.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with inspiring designers, front-end engineers, and leading back-end engineers to create reliable APIs and seamless user experiences. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members.
  • Cross-Platform Optimization: Ensure applications are optimized for mobile and browser environments, maintaining high responsiveness and robust performance.
  • Incident Management: Take an active role in troubleshooting, testing, and debugging applications during outages and incidents, while documenting lessons learned for future improvements.

Software Architect Skills

In addition to strong technical and analytical abilities, the role demands exceptional leadership and communication skills. Key skills include:

  • Programming Proficiency: Deep expertise in C#, .NET (Core & Framework), HTML, JSON, ASP Web Forms, Angular, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Xamarin, Entity Framework, SQL, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, WCF, ADO.NET, PrimeNG, DevExpress, and Unit Testing.
  • Technical & Analytical Acumen: Proven ability to solve complex problems, optimize code, and streamline development processes.
  • Code Review & Publication: Demonstrated experience in performing thorough code reviews and establishing robust documentation and publication practices.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage, mentor, and inspire a team under high-pressure situations.
  • Communication Excellence: Superior written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and effective interaction with team members and stakeholders.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented skills to collaborate effectively within diverse teams.

Software Architect Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: At least 7 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a proven record of leading projects from inception to successful publication.
  • Advanced Communication: High proficiency in English, both oral and written.
  • Documentation & Technical Expertise: Advanced technical skills, coupled with exceptional documentation and code publication practices.
  • Commitment to Excellence: A demonstrated track record of reliability, strategic planning, and time management.
  • Industry Experience (Plus):
  • Experience in the vacation or hospitality industry.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD environments.
  • Exposure to Artificial Intelligence technology.
  • Experience in DevSecOps or DevOps environments.
