Jambrina CPA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Senior to join our dynamic team. As a Tax Senior you will play a crucial role in our Tax department.

Responsibilities:

• Research and Consultation: Address IRS notices and other tax authority issues.
• Project Management: Oversee tax projects across various industries.
• Tax Expertise: Provide planning, consulting, and compliance services.
• Mentorship: Train and mentor associates and interns.
• Review and Recommendations: Ensure accuracy and identify tax-saving opportunities in tax returns.
• Process Improvement: Enhance client tax processes to improve efficiency and reduce exposure.
• Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and advisors.
• State and Local Tax Services: Handle tax return preparation, research, and client counseling.
• Special Projects: Engage in special projects and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Experience: At least five years in tax preparation (Forms 1065, 1120, 1120s, 1040, 1040nr, 8804).
• Licensing: EA (Enrolled Agent) license is highly preferred.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of tax laws, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, detail-oriented, effective communication, and interpersonal skills.
