We are seeking a passionate and experienced French Teacher to join our High School team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching French as a second language and a solid understanding of the IB philosophy. You will deliver engaging instruction to students in Grades 9–12 within the IB MYP and/or DP framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach French Language B (and/or Ab Initio) in the IB MYP and/or DP.
• Develop and implement creative, inquiry-based lessons aligned with IB standards.
• Use a range of assessments to measure student growth and guide instruction.
• Maintain accurate and timely records in systems such as ManageBac.
• Support student wellbeing and contribute to the pastoral care program.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and interdisciplinary projects.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in French, Modern Languages, Education, or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification/license.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at the secondary/high school level.
• High proficiency in both French and English.
• Familiarity with inquiry-based and student-centered teaching practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching in an IB MYP and/or DP program.
• IB training (Category 1 or higher).
• Experience with international or bilingual education.
• Comfortable using educational technology and digital platforms.
