This role will give you the opportunity to work with ESSORS leadership team composed of e-commerce pioneers and senior executives from Goldman Sachs, SoftBank, Lazada, Alibaba and Amazon. Purchasing assistant
The main mission of the Purchasing Assistant is to be on top of the purchasing process and optimize the process by directly assisting the Purchasing Manager in daily tasks.
What you will do
- Design and generate reports for process optimization.
- Builds proactive action plans to minimize/avoid operational risks.
- Reports on a weekly basis to Brand management teams and Leadership on their brands purchasing health status.
- Person in charge of developing relationships with suppliers and developing new ones.
- Preparation and monitoring of purchase orders and requisitions.
- Ensures data accuracy in all our internal systems.
- Creation and maintenance of the codes in the system.
Who you are:
- Fluent in English (Mandatory).!!!!
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or equivalent experience (Supply Chain Management certification is preferred).
- At least 5 years of experience with eCommerce Supply Chain Management (preferably with Amazon FBA).
- Experience managing and improving supply chain data, information and processes.
- Exceptional ability to conceptualize large-picture projects and foresee challenges that need to be addressed.
- Ability to research manufacturers and determine the best supplier to reach out to for various projects.
- Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus and adapt to a variety of challenges.
