Job Description:

The Remote Leasing Manager will ensure that agents provide exceptional service and that leasing goals are met. This role will also involve creating and executing marketing strategies, training the team, and tracking all performance metrics to meet occupancy and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leasing Management: Oversee all leasing activities, including the management of in-person full-time and part-time showing agents, ensuring efficient scheduling, property tours, and leasing application processes.

• Team Management: Recruit, hire, train, and supervise showing agents. Develop and implement in-depth training programs focused on leasing, touring, and customer service. Create and manage all leasing team schedules to ensure coverage 7 days a week.

• Remote Oversight: Provide daily support and leadership to the in-person showing agents, ensuring prompt communication and efficient resolution of any issues during leasing activities.

• Marketing Strategy: Create, implement, and evaluate weekly, monthly, and annual marketing plans based on occupancy goals and market conditions. Track and course-correct as needed to meet established goals, while continuously analyzing market trends and identifying new marketing opportunities.

• Market and Programmatic Leasing: Manage leasing processes for both market-rate units and units involving housing vouchers or other programmatic leasing arrangements, ensuring compliance with all program requirements.

• Lead Tracking and CRM Management: Track all leads in our CRM system, monitor sources of leads, and analyze conversion rates, conversation rates by source, and overall leasing performance.

• Market Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis on all properties, including annual market reports that track housing trends, competitor analysis, and property performance. Report these findings to clients and management.

• Marketing Execution: Actively participate in all marketing and leasing activities, including sales calls, property tours, and presentations. Ensure all showing areas, model units, and marketing materials are up-to-date and presentable.

• Event & Relationship Management: Manage relationships with local organizations and community groups to promote leasing opportunities. Identify and participate in relevant events such as housing fairs or community events to increase visibility.

• Fair Housing Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, DC, Maryland, and Virginia fair housing laws and regulations, providing training and guidance to the leasing team as needed.

• Reporting: Prepare and present weekly and monthly leasing and occupancy reports, analyzing trends and offering data-driven recommendations to optimize property performance.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Leasing, Property Management, or a related field.

• Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies.

• Experience with AppFolio is a plus.

• Strong leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a remote team of in-person showing agents.

• Proficient in MS Office applications, with strong skills in digital marketing tools, social media, and property management software.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a remote capacity.

Additional Information:

• Employment Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday*
• Salary: $10 – $12 USD* per hour.
• Expected Hours: 40 hours per week.
